Calvary Christian High School counselors are here to help you. Whether it is deciding which college to attend after you graduate, finding a career that matches your talents, or talking to someone about your questions and concerns, our counselors will guide you in mapping out your future.


Ms. Amy Holderby started at Calvary Christian High School in 2014.  She came to CCHS from Cedarville University just outside of Dayton, Ohio where she was Director of Admission.  She has more than 14 years of college admission experience.  Prior to Cedarville, she was at Berean Christian School in West Palm Beach, Florida where she was an English teacher, Academic Dean, and Guidance Counselor.  She holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership.  She is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan!


Ms. Dana Troutman joined the Calvary Christian High School College Counseling team in July, 2017 and is excited to engage with students and parents about the college preparation and search process. Previously, Ms.Troutman was Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she managed the visit program for prospective students and families coming to tour the campus. Prior to her time at UNC-Charlotte, she worked at NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina as Assistant Director of Admissions for nine years. She’s a Wolfpack girl at heart and earned her Master’s degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on educational access while working at NC State. She began her admissions career serving three years as an Admissions Counselor and Event Coordinator at Central Pennsylvania College, a small business college just outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; her home state. In her free time, you may see Ms.Troutman out walking or cycling on the local trails or taking in some tunes and sunshine at the local live music events.
