The workshop will meet once per week for one hour each week. Topics that will be covered during the workshop are: breathing, emboucher, mouthpiece buzzing, articulation, tone, range, and practice routines. The goal of the workshop is that by the end of the summer, each student will improve their overall technique and have a firm understanding of how to implement a practice routine. The content is designed for a brass player who has already has experience in playing a brass instrument. There is no cost to attend the Brass Fundamentals Workshop. You do not have to attend each weekly session to regiser. We realize vacations may interrupt some weeks.
