Vocal Music Teacher
Calvary Christian High School is seeking a faithful and dynamic Vocal Music Teacher who is passionate about using vocal music as a platform for discipling high school students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vocal music, including a degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Music Education, Vocal Music Performance, or Choral Conducting and the ability to assist with theatre productions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the following ways:
Vocal Music Skills
- Vocal technique
- Music literacy and sight singing
- Leading private voice lessons and choral sectional rehearsals
- Occasionally substitute teaching for the Choral Director
- Leading vocal music rehearsals for the annual musical production
- Basic to intermediate piano skills (able to support warm-ups and vocalises)
Theatre Skills
- Overseeing props and costumes for theatre productions
- Serving as a Backstage Director for theatre productions
- Occasionally rehearsing scenes with small groups of students
Occasionally, substitute teaching for the Theatre Director
Bible Teacher
Calvary Christian High School is seeking a faithful and dynamic Bible teacher who is passionate about discipleship and forming students in the Word of God. The ideal candidate will be skilled in teaching the relevance of the biblical worldview to every area of life and committed to preparing students to impact the world for Christ.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or higher preferred (ideally in biblical/theological studies, apologetics, or related field)
- 3+ years of teaching experience preferred
- ACSI Certification (or ability to obtain within one year)
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Highly organized and able to manage deadlines effectively
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Committed to ongoing professional growth
Comfortable using and learning educational technology
Candidates must demonstrate a vibrant faith in Christ, align with the mission and statement of faith of CCHS and Calvary Church, and be willing to become a member of Calvary Church.

- Health Insurance Plan with Blue Cross/Blue Shield
CCHS pays 100% of the premium to provide the health insurance benefit for the employee. CCHS will pay up to 50% of the additional premium to add dependents to the health insurance plan. - Life Insurance Policy
CCHS pays 100% of the premium to provide a Term Life Insurance Policy for the employee. - Long Term Disability Insurance Policy
CCHS pays 100% of the premium to provide a Long Term Disability Insurance Policy for the employee. - Retirement Program
CCHS contributes 5% of the annual salary amount for the employee to a professionally managed retirement program. Even if the employee chooses not to contribute additional funds, CCHS contributes 5% of the gross annual salary. - Sick and Personal Days
The employee receives a specified number of Sick and Personal Days annually based on their employment department. - Professional Development Opportunities
Employees are offered professional development opportunities by school administration with CCHS paying or arranging the payment for the growth opportunities. - Child Tuition Benefit
We offer tuition assistance to employees with children enrolled and attending CCHS. - Partner School Tuition Benefit
CCHS partner schools for grades Pre-K through 8th offer tuition assistance for our CCHS employees with children enrolled and attending their school. The tuition assistance is worked out directly with the partner school. - Out of State Relocation Reimbursement Benefit
CCHS offers a Relocation Reimbursement amount for employees relocating out of state to work at the school. - Additional Insurance Policies
CCHS offers additional insurance policies (Dental, Cancer, Critical Care, etc.) with group rates for employees who want to add the benefits with the employee paying the premiums.
