CURRICULUM
Our college-preparatory curriculum is designed to develop students who can reason, research, express ideas, and think critically in order to prepare them for collegiate rigor. Additionally, we believe an excellent education encompasses and impacts the whole person; therefore, the educational environment at CCHS enables faculty to influence both the minds and hearts of their students and to instill in them the wisdom, knowledge, and servant leadership required to be truly successful.
This is accomplished as we immerse the truths of God's Word into every subject area and teach from a Biblical worldview.
Students complete a Bible course each year of attendance. Courses which receive a letter grade are calculated into their cumulative GPA. Our bell schedule includes eight periods per day and students are advised to complete a challenging curriculum in their strength areas while balancing extracurriculars and family commitments.
Graduation Requirements
CCHS offers students three diploma options to pursue:
- College prep
- Honors
- Advanced Placement (AP)
In addition to these diploma requirements, students are also expected to complete the following requirements:
- Take the SAT, ACT, or CLT by the start of senior year
- Complete 100 community service hours (pro-rated for transfers)
- Apply to at least one 4 year university

Students who have not taken nor plan to take a PE class and are fulfilling their PE credit by participation in two seasons of sport, two seasons of marching band, or two seasons of colorguard should complete and submit this form after both seasons have been completed, ideally prior to the start of their senior year.
