Shadow a Student

Prospective students are required to shadow a current student during the school day. Students who shadow will attend classes, meet teachers, coaches, fine arts teachers, as well as be interviewed for admission by a member of our admissions team. Each student shadowing will be paired with one of our student leaders who will guide the prospective student through the day as they experience what it is like to be a Calvary Warrior. For a 9th grade applicant, the shadow day can be scheduled starting in September of the 8th grade year. We will host shadows from late September to early January.

How do I sign up for a Shadow Day?

Once you complete the Inquiry Form, a Shadow Day calendar will be emailed to you at the beginning of the 8th grade year! Select the calendly link in the email.

What can I expect on my Shadow Day?

1. Shadow students are to be dropped off at the front office at 8:00am. Enter the SCHOOL ENTRANCE off Drew Street.

2. Students will be dismissed at 2:00pm and you can pick them up from the NORTH ENTRANCE doors. You do not need to come in, but you can wait in your car.

3. A member of our admissions team looks forward to meeting and greeting the parent(s) at pick-up or drop-off.

4. CCHS will provide a complimentary lunch for the shadow day. If a student prefers to bring a lunch, that is fine.

5. Students will be assigned to a CCHS Student Leader to shadow and are expected to remain with that student throughout the day.

6. Students will be interviewed by a member of the admissions team during the shadow day.

6. Students are to dress as close to the CCHS dress code as possible. Shadow students can wear navy, khaki or black pants/shorts and a collared shirt or modest blouse. Jeans are permitted on Fridays.

7. Students are allowed to bring cell phones, but they cannot be out during class or at lunch. Cell phones can only be used between classes.

8. Students can request a student leader, or we will pair them with a student leader with similar interests.

Attend an Open House

The Calvary Christian High School Open Houses are some of our favorite events because we get to meet so many great prospective students and their families. Attending an Open House is not required, but it is a wonderful opportunity to get a personal tour of the school, meet staff and coaches and receive information about the application process.

Open House for the 2027-2028 enrollment:
Tuesday, March 10, 2026 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
