
The Choral Program at Calvary Christian High School provides a comprehensive, Christian vocal music education for all students that equips them to be effective producers of vocal music in our society.
Designed to support a wide range of musical experiences, the program features two distinct choir classes:
- Beginning Choir – For students developing foundational vocal skills
- Calvary Choir – An advanced ensemble performing throughout the year
The Choral Program consistently balances artistic excellence with a heart for service, earning critical acclaim while engaging the broader community.
- 2024-2025: 6 students selected for FMEA All-State Choir, Straight Superior Rating at FVA State Choral MPA, 3 “Critics' Choice” designations at FVA District 9 Solo & Ensemble
- 2023-2024: 6 students selected for FMEA All-State Choir; "Critics' Choice" & Superior Rating at FVA District 9 MPA; Qualified for State MPA; Warrior Voices performed at Tampa Bay Rays game.
- 2022-2023: 4 students selected for FMEA All-State Choir; "Critics' Choice" & Superior Rating at District MPA; Superior Rating at State MPA; Warrior Voices performed at Tampa Bay Rays game.
- 2021-2022: 3 students selected for FMEA All-State Choir; Straight Superior Ratings at District & State MPA; Warrior Voices performed at Tampa Bay Rays game.
Students have access to enriching performance and growth opportunities, such as:
- FVA District and State Performance Assessments
- FVA Solo & Ensemble
- FMEA All-State Auditions
- School concerts and chapel services
- Collaborative productions with other performing groups in the Fine Arts department
- Small vocal ensembles and solo features throughout the year
- Annual performance at the Disney Candlelight Processional in Orlando, FL
