Theatre Program

Theatre Program

Drama Photo

The theatre program at Calvary Christian High School provides all students with a comprehensive theater and musical theater education based on a Christian worldview. Our drama program is extremely engaging, and students will not only improve their performance skills, they will gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of the theatrical arts.

What Else is Involved?

Drama students perform at many events throughout the year, including a fall play, spring musical, the Celebration of the Arts, and solo/ensemble performances at the district and state competitions. Past CCHS drama students have gone on to receive scholarships to respected college theatre programs and perform in professional films, television shows, and local or regional theatrical productions. The drama program operates within the larger realm of the Fine Arts department and frequently collaborates, as well as shares students, with other programs such as the dance and choral programs.

The Next Level

Several students have gone on to receive college scholarships in theatre or have been cast in professional television, film, or theatre roles. As with any of the classes we offer at Calvary Christian High School, our drama program is designed to help you prepare for college and know what to expect. We’re proud to send our students on knowing that they have the tools they need to succeed.
