Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA)
The Florida High School Athletic Association was founded on April 9, 1920. The Florida Legislature, in 1997, gave the FHSAA statutory recognition as the official governing body for interscholastic athletics in Florida. The FHSAA has shown a steady growth in membership throughout its 89-year history. Currently, the FHSAA has a total of 748 member schools. The aim of the FHSAA is to promote, direct, supervise and regulate interscholastic athletic programs in which high school students, whose schools are members, compete.
Southern Baptists Association of Christian Schools (SBACS)
SBACS exists to advance church related Christian school ministries by fortifying school leaders with information, training, professional networks and an influence artery. SBACS is a nonprofit organization of Christian schools whose member schools are sponsored by Southern Baptist churches, state conventions or share a common vision and mission. Today approximately 600 Christian schools are supported and operated by Southern Baptist churches and state conventions. SBACS is committed to programs that encourage and support excellence in Christian education, a biblical worldview in curriculum and admissions policies that make Christian education available to all students regardless of race, national or ethnic origin.
National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC)
The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), founded in 1937, is an organization of more than 15,000 professionals from around the world dedicated to serving students as they make choices about pursuing postsecondary education. NACAC's award-winning publications and other media resources, professional development programs and practical research efforts have all been designed to give counseling and admission professionals the tools they need to improve the counseling services they provide to students.?
Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC)
The Southern Association for College Admission Counseling, a nonprofit, professional association, was founded in 1966 as a chartered affiliate of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). Approximately 1,900 members from secondary schools, colleges and universities, and educational consulting firms in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and the Caribbean work to promote high professional standards in the college admission process by exchanging ideas, sharing common goals and preparing counselors to serve students in the transition from high school to college.
North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP)
NACCAP (North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals) is comprised of admissions and guidance personnel from over 300 Christian high schools, liberal arts colleges and universities, Bible colleges, graduate schools and seminaries throughout North America. NACCAP strives to advance enrollment in Christian higher education through administering the Christian University & College Fairs. Over 130 fairs are hosted globally each year to bring students and Christian institutions together. Since 1970, NACCAP is the foremost professional enrollment organization promoting career development, spiritual growth and mutual cooperation between United States and Canadian institutions of Christian education. NACCAP desires to serve the interests of its member institutions and students seeking admission into Christian colleges, universities, graduate schools and seminaries by providing professional accountability, support and recruitment standards.
