STATE Scholarships for Private Schools
K-12 students, regardless of household income, who are residents of Florida and eligible to enroll in a K-12 public school can receive a scholarship to attend a private school that best meets their academic needs. The scholarship can be used for tuition along with other related expenses such as registration, books, testing and other fees.
NEXT STEPS
Applying/re-applying for the state scholarship is required each school year. Applications for the 2027-2028 school year are expected to open in February 2027.

State Scholarship Funding Process
* State scholarship awards are applied to FACTS accounts at the start of the school year to reduce monthly tuition payments. Scholarship funding is subject to eligibility requirements, required parent actions, and approval and disbursement by the funding organization.
** For students transferring from public school, parents should ensure the student is fully withdrawn and not actively enrolled in any public school, including automatic enrollment in a zoned public school. If a student appears enrolled in public school, scholarship funding may be delayed, denied, or withheld, and parents remain responsible for any resulting balance on the student account.

Family Empowerment Scholarships for Unique Abilities (FES-UA)
Calvary Christian High School provides a college preparatory classroom experience. A student receiving FES-UA funding may be considered for admission to Calvary. CCHS is limited in the accommodations we are able to provide; however, we are willing to review student records and inform parents of the accommodations available at Calvary. All students are expected to adhere to the same level of academic achievement for graduation and behavior expectations as set forth in our Parent-Student Handbook.
A parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA). The IDEA does not apply to private schools.
