Sports Camps at Calvary Christian High School

Calvary Christian High School is dedicated to equipping our students to live according to God’s plan as they move on from high school to college. To do this, we partner with your Christian home and the church to provide appropriate challenges, education, and guidance through our programs. One of our most successful ongoing offerings are our sports camps.

Our sports camps cover a wide variety of sports, activities, and abilities to drive our students towards greater confidence, strength, and faith. The motto of our Athletic Department is "Play Like a Warrior, Live for Christ."

Sports Camps are available to students who are entering third grade all the way to high school.

Join Calvary’s baseball coach, Greg Olsen, and members of the Warrior Baseball Program for an intense baseball summer sports camp that will teach the fundamentals of hitting, pitching, catching, base running, and fielding. The camp is designed to make every individual a better baseball player. Coach Olsen and his staff will build on each camper’s strengths and develop strategies to improve areas of weaknesses. Players will also grow in sportsmanship, leadership, and character with application from Bible-based devotions.

This summer sports camp will be held at Victory Field on the campus of Calvary Christian High School. Campers should bring their own glove and bat marked for identification. Each camper receives a T-shirt and trophies will be given for areas of special recognition. Register now!

Join CCHS’ Varsity Basketball Coach, Keb Burley, and members of the Warrior Basketball Program for a week of skill development in the fundamentals of basketball. Campers will receive great instruction on passing, shooting, ball handling, and team concepts. Attention will be given to the fundamentals of free throws, footwork, fast break, and lots of fun.

There will be a focus on the fundamentals and basic skill training. There are both individual and group drills to enhance each ability level.

Join Calvary's Head Football Coach, Wes Safford, and members of Warriors football team for a great summer sports camp of football fun. This non-contact camp is a great learning opportunity for players of all experience levels, from the first-time “rookie” to a seasoned “veteran.” Campers will be grouped according to age and ability, insuring a positive learning environment.

The emphasis of the football summer sports camp is teaching the fundamentals of the game in an energetic, enthusiastic, and encouraging atmosphere. Coach Safford and his staff realize the importance of teaching sound techniques in skill areas such as passing, receiving, blocking, tackling, and running. Campers will have fun while learning to play. Each camper receives a camp T-shirt.

Join Calvary's Girls and Boys Soccer Coaches, as well as, members of the Warrior soccer program for a week of high-quality soccer instruction in a fun, positive, and Christian environment. This summer sports camp will emphasize teaching boys and girls the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and receiving while making sure campers get the most enjoyment out of learning and developing their skills in the areas of technical skills, tactical understanding, and speed/agility. Instruction will be age and ability grouped for maximum benefit as it relates to attacking, defending, and transitioning between both strategies.

Plan to join Calvary's Varsity Volleyball Coach, Kim Whitney, former USA National Team member and pro beach player for five days of indoor volleyball instruction and competition, and two days of Beach Volleyball instruction and competition. This summer sports camp will stress the fundamentals with special sessions in attacking, defense, setting, passing and blocking. Campers will practice in ability groups and receive individual help.

Assisting Coach Whitney in the camp will be members of the Lady Warriors volleyball team. At Calvary Christian High School, you can also trust that your children and teenagers will be guided by professional, faith-led coaches during their time at our sports camps.

Refund Policy

Sports Camp Refund Policy:

No refunds will be issued for no-shows or if a child stops attending after the camp has started.
No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather.
Full refunds are available for cancellations made by May 4, 2026.
Half refunds are available for cancellations made by May 18, 2026.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after June 1, 2026.

Additional Refund Options:

Medical Emergency Refunds: Full refunds may be provided if the child cannot attend due to a medical emergency. A doctor’s note may be required.
Transfer Option: If a participant is unable to attend the scheduled camp, a transfer to a future session may be offered in place of a refund.
Camp Cancellation by Organizer: If the camp is canceled or significantly altered by the organizer, a full refund will be provided.
