Academics at CCHS
At Calvary Christian High School, we are passionate about providing a strong academic foundation—because we believe education encompasses more than college preparation. It’s about equipping students to live out a biblical worldview with excellence in every area of life. Our desire is that Calvary graduates represent both the name of our school and the name of Christ—building strong communities and contributing through lives marked by wisdom, integrity, and good works.
Calvary Christian High School Academics
The academic program at Calvary Christian High School is designed to guide students toward earning a college-preparatory diploma within a Christ-centered and academically excellent environment. Our curriculum develops skills in reasoning, research, communication, and critical thinking to prepare students for the demands of higher education. Yet, we believe a truly excellent education goes beyond academic achievement—it shapes the whole person: intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, socially, and physically.
At Calvary, our teachers are uniquely positioned to influence not only students’ minds, but also their hearts and character. Through a biblical worldview and intentional immersion of every subject area in God's Word, we seek to nurture wisdom, knowledge, and servant leadership. Our ultimate goal is to cultivate students who pursue wisdom beyond scholarship, prioritize service over self, value character before career, and live with purpose in every area of life.
Accreditations and Advanced Courses
Calvary Christian High School is accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), a division of Cognia and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
We are proud to offer a variety of advanced academic programs, including honors courses, dual credit courses, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. These programs are thoughtfully designed to provide a collegiate-like learning experience, inspiring students to engage fully with their studies and achieve their highest potential. Furthermore, dual credit and AP courses grant students the opportunity to earn transferable credits, giving them a valuable head start on their college journey.
